36 Hour Driver Certification Course

Maryland's required driver education course consists of 30 hours in the classroom and 6 hours of driving. In addition to completing this course, Learner's permit holders are also required to obtain 60 hours of driving practice with a mentor. The driving mentor must be at least 21 years of age, and have had a license for a minimum of 3 years. A student is not required to have a learner's permit at the start of the class, but must have one before they are allowed to complete the driving portion of the course.

Our typical class rotation is Monday through Thursday, however this may vary depending on the location or the time of year. Tuition for the course also varies from one location to another, but students are allowed to start with a deposit of $100. Ten 3-hour classes must be taken in order to fulfill the 30-hour Maryland state requirement. Students should come prepared to all classes, bringing a notebook, pen or pencil, and photo ID. There are a number of tests that must be passed, so we do encourage note-taking. If you have a learner's permit you will also want to bring that with you to the first class.

Point System Conference/ Driver Improvement Program

We hold our PSC/DIP class on Saturdays at our Essex, Parkville, Pasadena, and Timonium locations. The class costs $25.00 for the PSC and $65.00 for the DIP. The DIP Starts 9:00am and runs to about 3:00pm. The PSC class is the first 2 hours of the DIP. To sign-up you can call the office.

3-Hour Drug and Alcohol Class

Our 3-Hour Drug and Alcohol class is held every sunday at our Essex location, and every other Sunday at our Timonium/Cockeysville Location. The class starts at 10:00am and ends at 1:00pm. The fee is $35.00. To register for a class call prior to the desired class date.
